Our Mercury One-Day Challenge is a special 60-minute trial experience for children approximately 18 month – 3 years old. Children and parents can experience our English-speaking classroom, teachers, classmates, songs, learning activities, and the warm atmosphere of Kitty International School. The regular Mercury program includes group activities such as Hello Song, Circle Time and curriculum-based learning. What Your Child May Experience During the 60-minute experience, your child may enjoy: ① A personal welcome from the Mercury teachers and children ② Welcome Song and Welcome Speech ③ Circle Time and English classroom activities ④ The day’s regular Mercury curriculum ⑤ Interaction with teachers and classmates ⑥ Goodbye Speech, Goodbye Song and a fun dance ⑦ A special One-Morning Challenge photo to take home as a memory Mercury activities vary depending on the day and may include worksheets, Monthly Activities, Blocks & Puzzles and other curriculum activities. Parents may stay with their child during the experience and observe how they respond to the classroom, teachers, English environment and other children. As your child becomes comfortable, we encourage them to interact directly with the teachers and class at their own pace. We look forward to welcoming you and helping you determine whether KIS is the right fit for your family. ___________________________________________________________________________ Step-by-Step Admission Process: We aim to make our enrollment process seamless and transparent for parents: ① Briefing Session & Application Submission: Attend the tour briefing session and submit the official application form (available on-site for ¥1,000). ② Parent and Child Interview: Complete a brief, friendly interview with our admissions committee. ③ Kindergarten Entrance Approval: Receive formal notification regarding your child’s enrollment approval. ④ First Tuition Payment: Finalize registration by submitting the initial tuition payment. ⑤ Attend Kindergarten: Welcome your child to their first day at Kitty International School!
